Shenandoah Valley United Hires New Director of Coaching
Jason Moore joins SVU as DOC.
Shenandoah Valley United is excited to announce the hiring of Jason Moore as the club’s Director of Coaching. Jason will direct the Travel and Challenge Programs as well as lead supplemental development programs, Camps, Academies and Clinics. SVU’s Travel Program competes in the National Premier League along with clubs from surrounding communities in the western half of the state. As part of his role as DOC, Moore will coach two teams in SVU’s Travel Program and is in charge of player and coach development for the club.
Coach Moore brings a wealth of experience to SVU. He holds a US Soccer B license, USC Premier Diploma and National Youth License and has over 25 years of experience coaching in youth and college soccer. Coach Moore graduated from Eastern Mennonite University where he was a 4-year member of the men’s soccer team. He previously served as a Director of Coaching for SVU in the club’s early years. Recently, Moore was on the coaching staff for the Philadelphia Ukrainians after previous stints with SOCA and as the Girls Academy Director for Skyline Elite Soccer Club.

We will return to some of the things that made the club successful in the past, but also add new ideas and approaches that will help SVU reach new heights as well.”
