Winter Academy
SVU’s Winter Camps offer a systematic and focused training environment for players of all ages and levels looking to improve their soccer abilities. SVU takes its locally renowned soccer programming indoors to sharpen skills, develop new talents and help players prepare for the upcoming spring season. The indoor setting naturally lends itself to technical development, shrinking the time and space a player has on the ball. SVU’s professional coaching staff will help players maximize the indoor conditions and provide the technical foundation and tactical understanding to push each players development.

Winter Academies run for one hour, once a week for 6 weeks.
Academies in 2025 will start the week of January 6 and run for 6 weeks.
Times are 5:00-6:00pm and 6:00 – 7:00pm. Monday through Thursday at Horizons Edge indoor turf.These Academies range from U8 Skill Builder, Goalkeeper School, Finishing School, Ball Mastery sessions and regular age group sessions. Each group is two age groups combined. U12 is u11 and u12. Spaces are limited to 12 players per Academy.
Winter Academies in 2025 will focus on the U8-U14 age groups.
